Costs and Associated Charges for the Provision of Investment and Ancillary Services
Three things make up what a trade costs you at Onys Kapital: the spread, any commission, and a financing charge if you hold overnight. What you pay depends on the market, the account you opened and how big the order is. Everything on this page is shown in MetaTrader 5 before you confirm a trade.
Trading Charges
Spread: Every market has two prices — one to buy at, one to sell at. The gap between them is the spread, and it is the main thing you pay. On a normal day it stays steady. It gets wider when news lands, when a market is thin, and around the open and the close.
Commissions: Some accounts trade on a tighter spread and pay a small fee per lot instead. Whether it applies, and how much, depends on your account and the market. The figure sits in your account specification and on the order ticket.
Overnight financing: Close a trade the same day and this never touches you. Leave it open past the daily rollover and a financing charge applies. One day of the week carries three days' worth, to cover the weekend. The rate moves with the market and is not the same for a buy as it is for a sell. An Islamic account pays none of this.
Calculation Methodology
- Spread cost
(Ask Price − Bid Price) × Volume × Contract Size - Commission
Commission per lot × Volume - Swap fee
Swap points × Volume × Contract Size × Point Size × Days - Conversion fee
Market exchange rate + applicable fee
Point size comes from how many decimal places a market is quoted to:
- 5 decimal digits: 0.00001
- 3 decimal digits: 0.001
- 2 decimal digits: 0.01
- 1 decimal digit: 0.1
Put simply: you pay the spread the moment you open, before the market has moved at all. Commission and financing come on top only where they apply. High-volume and specialist accounts run on different pricing, so check your own account specification rather than assuming.
Account Trading Conditions
The tables below are the ceilings for each market and account type. Conditions can change with the market, so the numbers shown in MetaTrader 5 at the moment you trade are the ones that count.
